The Doorstroomtoets

The Doorstroomtoets is an important milestone for all students in grade 8. At Klasroom, students in grades 7 and 8 train in small groups of no more than three. They learn to approach the material in a structured way, practice with relevant exercises and build confidence for the test. The trainings start several times a year and places are limited. Reservations are possible as long as spots are available.

The Transition

A confident start

The Doorstroomtoets in grade 8 can feel overwhelming. It is an important moment, as the results count toward the school recommendation for secondary education. Many children feel nervous or are unsure about what will be expected of them. That is why good preparation makes all the difference.

At Klasroom, we guide children step by step towards the Doorstroomtoets. In 12 weekly sessions of one hour, we practice language and math exactly in the way the test requires. We do this in small groups of no more than three students, ensuring plenty of personal attention. Prefer individual guidance? The training can also be followed one on one.

The Program

Our approach

The lessons are practical and clearly structured. We practice with assignments similar to those in the Doorstroomtoets, discuss smart strategies for tackling questions and work on handling time pressure. There is also room to focus on the areas your child finds most challenging.

Our tutors know the Doorstroomtoets inside out and understand how to guide children effectively. As a result, you will see your child grow not only in knowledge but also in confidence. After twelve weeks, your child will enter the test with a calm mindset and greater certainty.

Every situation is unique. Our support is ready when you are.
